Yes we can
just get into the internet explorer folder
the path will for Win XP will be like
c:\>cd progra~1\intern~1
then type iexplore www.Google.com
it will take you to google


Else, open the command prompt.

Type in start, space, followed by the website.

e.g. Start www.google.com

It will then open the specified website in you're default web browser.

(Much quicker that first pointing to the browser)
