If you just purchased a house with an inground indoor pool and there are a few areas of the liner that have slipped out from under the piece that holds it up will it will require a total replacement?

it depends on how old the liner is. if it has several years on it. it may need to be replaced. because the liner shrinks with age. so you may not be able to pull it back up.

Footprints on bottom of inground pool liner?

I had an inground pool installed. We just turned on the lights at night and noticed footprints on the bottom. Can this be fixed? Call the pool company back. The bottom is normally sand mixed with cement. The liner will probably have to be removed and bottom smoothed. They should have checked that before installing the liner. Those printswi catch sediment and debris for the life of the liner.

How to replace PVC coping on in-ground pool?

Replace the existing coping with a horizontal aluminum liner receiver track by either Cardinal or Cinderella. These tracks are very small in height so you can run either your concrete or wood/composite deck over them. See the HM-1 or HM-2 at http://Coping.CinderellaInc.com Purchase it at: www.poolpartsandsupplies.com and look under "INGROUND POOLS" and then subheading "ALUMINUM LINER TRACK" or "ALUMINUM LINER TRACK BY CARDINAL" http://www.poolpartsandsupplies.com/sectionsxx.mv OR GO TO www.libertypool.com http://www.libertypool.com/xq/asp/Section.In%2DGround+Pools/qx/Section_Headings.htm Yes, but if you use aluminum track be sure to ground each section or it will oxdize. PVC would be better..

What causes wrinkles in a pool liner?

I'm assuming that you have an inground vinyl lined pool. This is a chronic problem with inground vinyl lined pools, and is due to ground water being higher than the level of the water in your pool. The pressure of the ground water is greater than the pressure exerted by your pool water, and the liner floats. A half baked solution, is to wait until the ground is no longer saturated before removing water. The real solution is to provide a way for the ground water underneath your liner to be removed. This can be a passive system with a small pipe going under your liner and allowing the ground water to drain off (but this only works if you can keep all parts of that pipe below the level of the water in the pool-which depends completely on the pitch of the ground in your yard), or an active pumping system which pumps the ground water out to a drain.

How do you get the passage window back on track on a 1994 Pontiac grand am SE?

Remove the door panel. Find the track, for the passage window, loosen the track and put the glass, back in track. Put the track, back in track, and tighten it down. Put your door panel back on, and your ready to go.

How do you repair liner without draining for above ground pool?

Our liner was coming away from the edge in a couple of places. We bought a strip of material that was used to hold the liner in the track from the pool store. We cut the strip into 1 inch pieces. We worked the pool liner back into the track. (We had about a 18 inch section pulled away and a 6 inch section in another location.) This required 3 people and a lot of effort to get the liner back into the track. We then tapped the 1 inch strips into the track about 1 foot apart to hold the liner in place. This has held for over a year with no problems. Good Luck! Using a kettle to heat water and pouring it on the liner is a safe way to make it temporarily more plyable, the T-Bead to hold the liner in the track is also key. If i had a pool i would have a large peice to go around my whole liner.

Is there anything to recolor a faded vinyl liner?

Yes, replace the liner. Nothing can put the color back into plastic or vinyl or glass or steel.
