Not that I know of.
Yes see answer posted by "Lincolnator" on how to do this.
Either the air suspension relay that is behind the passenger side wheel well or the compressor.
WHICH COMPRESSOR, AIR SUSPENSION OR A/C.........???
suspension system is rattling How to repair the rattle?
The Mark 8 does not have a check-valve in the air suspension system. Each air spring has a solenoid valve, which controls fill and vent of the spring. There is a fifth in the suspension compressor itself, which controls venting the system. I discovered that the seat for vent valve was corroded in my compressor, which would then leak when the system was trying to fill. This resulted in the compressor running, but the car lowering. I was able to clean the seat up for a temporary repair, but ultimately replaced the compressor.
Probably one or both of the front air shocks or the compressor.
Yes, but it's not safe
Could be one or both of the front air bags or the spider valve in the compressor.
It is actually an air suspension consisting of an electric air compressor, 4 air springs, 3 height sensors,an on/off switch and a suspension computer. You need to diagnose where problem lies before you can fix it. Is switch in trunk behind spare turned on ? Does compressor run when key is turned on?Hope this helps.
Either your Air Ride switch is turned off or you have a bad compressor. My compressor died on me because of a bad selanoid... have a mechanic look into it. be warned, it can get expensive.
Not too hard, it's behind the wheel well housing, passenger side of the car toward the front of the car.
the asiest way to see if it is working is to start the car, turn on the a/c, watch your compressor. you should hear a click than the center of the compressor pully will start rotating, if that doesnt happen you could be low in gas in your system, you can always fill it just to check
its on the drivers side under the hood mounted to the top of left wheel well you will see a round filter that has air lines on top, this is mounted to air compressor it keeps the moisture out of air system
