Probably. However, remember that the Explorers had a tendency to roll over with larger than manufacturer recommended wheels. When I bought one back in the day, the dealer refused to put the larger wheels on the vehicle.
Why is my ford explorer not starting
Ford Explorer was created in 1991.
The automatic transmission is an A4LD in a 1991 Ford Explorer
No , not in the full size Ford Expedition ( but there was an Expedition trim level on the Ford Explorer years ago that had a V6 )
No. The Expedition is much larger.
Yes! The 1991-1994 Ford Explorer transmissions are interchangeable.
no...the bolt spacing is different
The transmissions from 1991 - 1994 are the same. So the 1991 transmission will not fit a 1996 explorer.
I dont see why not.
Ford started manufacturing the Explorer in 1990 as a 1991 model
The Ford Explorer was introduced in 1991. There are no 1990 Explorers to take a transmission from.
I believe that is ( 19.3 U.S. gallons ) in a 1991 Ford Explorer 4 door
