I'm weak on Fords, but you can do anything if you want to. You used to be able to swap anything by changing the bell housing on the transmission. A V8 isn't that much longer than a 6 so if the transmission will bolt up, it is just a matter of running the electrical and Plumbing.

Which Mustang engine are you talking about? I can think of 13 different motors that were offered in them off the top of my head up till the mod motors. Yes, a 302/5.0 and 351/5.8 can be swapped. A 171/2.8 out of a Mustang II will fit. You could put a 2.3 out of a fox body but that would be... a waist of time unless it was significantly built up. Countless people have done and have been doing 302/5.0 swaps since the Ranger came out in '83. Google is your friend, USE IT. Search for "Bronco II V8 Swap" or "Swapping a Mustang engine into a Bronco II". James Duff and Advance Adapters both make all the necessary parts required to make the swap/

this one i know thru experience,and a long time to figure it out. but yes a 302 cam will work in a 351.but, u will need to time the engine to 302 timing specs, not to 351 timing specs the same applies if you put 351 cam in a 302
