Which Mustang engine are you talking about? I can think of 13 different motors that were offered in them off the top of my head up till the mod motors. Yes, a 302/5.0 and 351/5.8 can be swapped. A 171/2.8 out of a Mustang II will fit. You could put a 2.3 out of a fox body but that would be... a waist of time unless it was significantly built up. Countless people have done and have been doing 302/5.0 swaps since the Ranger came out in '83.
Google is your friend, USE IT. Search for "Bronco II V8 Swap" or "Swapping a Mustang engine into a Bronco II".
James Duff and Advance Adapters both make all the necessary parts required to make the swap/
A small 86 HP 2.3L 4-cylinder diesel engine was offered through 1987 on Bronco II's. Bronco II's were made from 1984 to 1990. so if you find this engine it should fit your Bronco II. I researched this before i answered your question so i knew it would be correct!!! good Luck!!! A small 86 HP 2.3L 4-cylinder diesel engine was offered through 1987 on Bronco II's. how do put belt on 1990 ford bronco 5.8
The Mustang will accept any engine you can find, the largest production engine was the 427
A better question is why would you want to put a ranger transmission on a mustang
Depends on which engine and how much work you are willing to do.
yes you can, with modifications
The 1991 351 Windsor is electronically fuel injected, so changing the engine would require all of the control modules and fuel injection systems associated with an EFI engine to be put in as well, but it is possible.
Don't mess up a FORD mustang with a CHEVY engine come on. Put the right engine in the car.
Is it possible? Yes. Is it worth the effort? Not to me. That takes a lot of effort and expense.
the amount of oil that your suppose to put in is 5 quarts
You Can Put a 1988 Transmission In a 1993 Mustang Body.
