Absolutely, that sounds like an excellent choice, if you are switching over from conventional oil be sure to flush it all out as best as you can.
Mobil 1 is synthetic
Synthetic from Mobil. 10W40 is probably best. How many miles and what type of oil previously used. Synthetic from Mobil. 10W40 is probably best. How many miles and what type of oil previously used.
I recently switched to Mobil 1 synthetic in my 05 Titan. It has 102,000 miles on it and is running great. The synthetic made the engine even quieter at idle (if that's possible) and acceleration smoother. I also switched to NGK iridium spark plugs. Wow! Smooth acceleration and noticeable gas mileage gains (any little bit helps!).
Synthetic Mobil 1 oil last in sealed container has a shelf life of five years.
on 2006 S 430 every 15000 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic 0W-40
Mobil 1 Full Synthetic
I have always used it on my BMW and have never had a problem.
I use Mobil 1 15-40 wt synthetic in my 1995 Yamaha TW200. It has over 6,500 miles with no problems.
In the Mobil 1 line one could mostly find Engine Oils for ones vehicle. Particularly synthetic oil. Listed on Mobil 1's webpage is 8 different formula's of synthetic engine oil that one can purchase for one's vehicle.
Do you mean Mobil 1 5W-30 (which is synthetic) or Mobil Super 1000 (which looks like a HVI mineral oil basestock). The only Mobil 100 5W-30 I remember was a "red band" mil spec mineral oil (and that was 20 years ago).
Depends on how many miles it has on it, I prefer High mileage castrol GTX 10/40 Detergent for most v-6 motors or I will use the synthetic oil to get longer life out of it.If it is low mileage then you can use castrol 10/30 or Mobil oil 10/30 or Texaco 10/30 or 10/40 depending on mileage. If it has a lot of miles on it the lower viscosity will cause it to burn or leak oil. hope you found what you were looking for thanks.
