I wouldn't. Replace or repair the line instead.
I have a small hole in my transmission line on my old one Ford Windstar can I use JB Weld to seal up that or not
Cooling lines from transmission to radiator?
transmission cooler
Just a drip.
NO.
either the transmission oil line to radiater is not tightene or the oil cooler tank at bottom of radiator has a leak
Most Likely you have a leak from the transmission cooling tank on your radiator to the antifreeze portion of the radiator. Jeff
The tanks on the radiator are plastic and the lines vibrate causing the tanks to leak were they screew into the radiator. REPLACE RADIATOR.
This is transmission fluid. The leak is at the transmission cooler which may be part of the radiator.
The automatic transmission oil cooler is built into the radiator. If the oil cooler developes a leak the oil mixes with the engine coolant.
Bad seal? Bad cooling line to radiator?
If the transmission is low on ATF because of an ATF leak, yes. It is not good for the transmission to be used while low on ATF. If the leak is engine coolant, no.
On the automatic transmission there are lines from the transmission to the transmission cooler that connect to the radiator
