As a general rule as you stand at your door and look at the garden the boundry to your left is yours to maintain, so under the terms of your tenancy this could be replaced with something else, normally.

However ask your local housing officer if you are unsure of this, it is their job to help you with things like this!

Did I have the right to enter land recently sold by a friend the Seller to the Purchaser. He received the Purchasers permission for me to remove a structure now the new owner wants the property back?

Your friend apparently had (or has) permission to remove certain property, but not necessarily to enter the property. You, as the agent of your friend, only have as much authority as he or she may have had. If it was a temporary license to enter the premises to remove the structure, it can be terminated at any time. However, if there was some agreement on the transfer of the property rights in the structure itself (i.e., your friend didn't "sell" that part), then your friend can sue to recover the property (or its value) regardless of where it is or who has it. So, you have at least two issues: did the Seller (and you) have permission to enter the premises, and did the Seller (and you) have the right to remove a structure. A related issue is, "who owns it", but that should be easily determined by the documents as interpreted under your local laws of conveyancing.

Can you take out a sidewalk Is the sidewalk private or public property?

The ability to remove a sidewalk depends on whether it is located on private or public property. Sidewalks on private property can typically be removed with proper permits and approval from the local authorities. However, sidewalks on public property usually require permission from the relevant municipal department or government agency.

Can a neighbor refuse to allow their existing fence to be joined by a new one on the adjacent property?

Yes, they can refuse. The fence is their property, so you must have permission to join their fence to yours. If not, you can build to the edge of your property line, leaving a gap between the two. You can have your property surveyed to determine your exact property line, and if their fence is on the line you can connect at those points only. You can also make them remove the fence if it's on your property.

Can you put up a fence with permission then land sold and i want to move it can i?

If you "put up" the fence, one might presume that you purchased the materials and provided the labor, making it "your" fence, even though it may be located on land owned by someone else. Under this theory you did not "give" them the fence; rather they "permitted" you to occupy part of their property with your fence. The fence did not get sold with the property, as it was not theirs to sell. You may reclaim your fence by asking permission to enter the property and remove your personal property; the fence. If the new owners do not permit you access, you can obtain permission from the court to enter the property to remove your fence, or obtain an order for the landowner to remove you fence and return it to you at your cost. It would help to have an affidavit from the previous owner that states it is your fence. If the previous owner disagrees, or the new owner claims the fence is now his, then you can sue the previous owner and new owner, jointly and severally, for the value of your fence that they have "converted" to their own personal use, or sue in replevin to obtain the return of your property. This will be a fine welcome to the neighborhood for the new owners!
