yes warranty means if its broken or your not satisfied with it you can take it back but not if your warranty has run out

replacing them, they are not that fixable, you only want them to be able to be fixed. Even if someone tries to polish the discs there is no guaranteeing that they will ever be trouble free and not still be a pain when your game stops working
