no unless so one make a kit to do that tranadap.com 400 trans is longer than 350trans best to rebuild 350 trans i can rebuild for 500.00 you will have better trans then bsnward@Yahoo.com
Probably not. It will likely be too short.
Yes both motors are the same except for the turbo and the pluming for the turbo. The front pipe maybe different also. the engines are not the same on the non turbo car the engine is on the right side and on the the turbo engine is on the left side of the car i have done the swap you have to change the front clip and sup frame, fuel lines, brake lines, computer, wiring, speedo cluster, fuel pump, washer bottle and all the plumming for it, rad, all the a/c lines and condensor, front pipe
Yes the CASES are the same. The center shaft that's in the 4x4 transmissions are longer then the 2-wheel drive trannys. That is for the transfur case will slide onto the center shaft and work. But the cases are the same.
A turbo 350 has only 3 gears. The 700R4 has 3 gears plus over drive and lock-up converter. And it is the same as a 400 turbo with overdrive.
yes it is a 350 turbo trans is always just that a turbo 350, almost all Chevy parts are interchangeable, it is the same transmission and chances are they both have the same engine most v8 gm be it car or truck use similar drive train unless its 4x4 than it wont work in a car
In the case of engines, turbo is used as a contracted name for the turbo charger.
yes its the same place it might have an extra outlet for the turbo.
I do not see the point in doing it but it would be a lot of work. it would be just like turbo charging a non-turbo car, running all the lines and all. also the engine in that car is weak. get a GST/GSX all ready turboed and has the 4g63 Actually, Depending if you have the DOHC (Dual Overhead Cam) model or not you may be able to do a direct bolt on of the turbo system off a vehicle with the same engine. But I recommend getting your turbo off of an eclipse GS Turbo or GSX because all the lines and the manifold and everything will already fit without any modifications. Getting it off of a laser would work, but not as well as would require many modifications to make it fit/work.
Yes. It can be installed to your car without having a turbo. Your car will operate the same whether you have a turbo installed or not.
Borland, same as Turbo Pascal and Delphi.
RS is the base model with manual windows, manual locks, no sunroof (mostly), no foglights, no spoiler, no rear wiper, no cruise control, etc. Gs is the non-turbo upper model with power everything, spoiler, sunroof, etc. GST is same as GS with turbo and GSX is same as GS with turbo and all wheel drive.
Yes, the same harness was used in the non turbo as well as the turbo, Unless you have the 1.8 liter or the 420a engine.
