You can only use the gas that is blended with ethanol. 90 % gas 10 % ethanol. You can not use the new 85% ethanol 15 % gas; this will eat the seals on your fuel system. I hope this helps you. Mark
E85
NO!
Help, Need to find gas brands that DO NOT have ethanol. It not well liked by boat owners. In Illinois they all have ethanol. State tax break.
yes it does
You don't have to remove gas, just add good gas as ethanol gets used up.
It's designed to run on " regular " unleaded gas - 87 octane . The gasoline can have a maximum of 10 % ethanol ( If you mean E 85 - NO ! )
Yes. Most gas stations currently serve 10% ethanol anyway.
To reduce small gas prices IDIOTS
Since the gasoline we purchase these days leaves a lot to be desired, I have been recommending high octane fuel to my customers. Also, avoid fuel containing ethanol for use in your outboard.
Some with older cars don't notice a difference when combining ethanol with gasoline. 10% ethanol mixed with gasoline is a safe amount to use for perfect results.
According to the 1998 Ford Expedition Owners Guide you use regular unleaded gas with an octane rating of ( 87 ) and up to ( 10 % ) ethanol so it does not have flex fuel engines ( As far as I know if you could use E85 the mileage would be worse )
From what I've heard, if your vehicle was not designed to run on ethanol, don't put it in the tank. Ethanol is a type of alcohol, and will corrode fuel lines, fuel injectors and cause a number of problems. 99, suburban....I'd use regular gas to be safe
