Be careful here. I guess you could use more yeast, BUT it will make it taste slightly more 'yeasty'! If you want your bread to have that 'home-madey' taste, then it's probably best to stick to the recipe.
Hope this helps :)
Yeast dough will rise more slowly if kept at a lower temperature. Chilling the dough in a refrigerator will cause slow, overnight rising. One can also use less yeast in proportion to the flour in the recipe.
Krispy Kreme donuts are just regular yeast donuts. You can use any yeast dough recipe.
This depends on the recipe and how much less you put in. If its a tricky recipe using yeast like croissants or just yeast dough then the yeast molecules may not have enough starch and the dough may not rise as much. If its in anything else and its not a huge amount (less than a quarter of a cup) then just use less liquid. Keep the solid to liquid ratio equal. If its more than a quarter of a cup just make half a recipe.
To make donut, first you will need to find a good dough recipe. The recipe you use will depend on what type of donuts you want to make. Some are leavened with yeast and others with baking soda or baking powder. For the dough, you will also need flour, eggs, sugar, butter, spices, and so on. With a yeast recipe, you will need to let the dough rise. Then, roll or turn out the dough and use donut cutters. Fry in a deeper fryer with oil heated to 370 degrees. Then, you can leave them plain. Or you can frost them. glaze them, dip them in sugar, or anything else you like.
yeast.
No you cant use yeast to make rice but you can use it to make bread i think. Who would use yeast when making rice? Yes, you can use yeast in a similar manner with rice flour as you do with flour that's made from wheat.
Not too much. The sugar, however does. If you use to little, the yeast will not activate enough and your dough will not rise; use to much, and your yeast will be over active and your dough will be chewy, flat and too dense.
The test determined that she had a yeast infection. After you have prepared the basic ingredients add the yeast suspension to the dough and knead.
Yeast turns some of the sugar in bread dough into alcohol and carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide fills the bread with a lot of little bubbles. That makes it easy to eat. Without yeast bread would be like eating raw spaghetti.
No yeast does not use up the carbohydrates, but it does consume some of them to generate the carbon dioxide to cause the dough to rise before the heat of the oven kills the yeast.
Put a little of the yeast in a glass of warm water. If you see tiny bubbles, the yeast is still good. If not, adding the dead yeast will not make the dough rise.
The purpose of yeast is to raise the dough when it is cooked. If yeast is not working then, you'll end up with unrisen or flat bread.
