17 is the legal age in Texas, and if a minor wants to get married with parental consent it's 15 for a boy and 14 for a girl. You are now considered an adult, but with that comes some heavy responsibilities. Your question is a bit confusing. It sounds like you left your parents home and they took you out of school? Well, in ways they DO have a right. If you want to be an adult, leave home under bad circumstances then parents can refuse to pay for the rest of your education, etc. They are no longer responsible for you. I won't even entertain the fact of what is going on between you and your parents, but if they have loved you, put a roof over your head and want the best for you, then I see no reason why you would want to leave home. Parents and their children don't always get along (especially during teen years) and this is quite normal because the teens are still not quite adults, but they are doing what comes naturally and trying their wings as far as becoming independent. If things aren't that bad for you and you've just had some arguements, please consider seeing you parents, sitting down like the adult you think you are and try coming to some fair conclusions as to what they want and you want. Quit being angry and think with your head! Good luck Marcy
