You need to have the ECU scanned with an OBD2 scanner and retrieve the code that has been set. The code will tell you what part of the emissions system is being effected. This will help you diagnose the problem. Or you can keep spending money throwing parts at the problem until you may or may not find the faulty part.
Faulty sensor get it replaced if not check to make sure wire isn't shorting out
There are 2 different oxygen sensors for this car. I just replaced the back one which is in the exhaust system. If you go underneath the car and look near the catalytic converter. You should see the sensor threaded into the exhaust system. It will have a chord coming from it and heading to the engine. It will be plugged in at the rear of the engine. This is the more expensive O2 sensor. Just make sure not to cross thread the new O2 sensor as it will not get the correct reading. There are 2 different oxygen sensors for this car. no it could keep your electric fans from coming on if your mechanic broke it you should have your mechanic replace it
It probably is something in the emissions. O2 sensor what year and make
Have you replaced your air filter lately? If not, try that, reset the computer by unplugging the battery and see if it clears the code.
The O2 sensor is in the front of the engine. If you look at the exhaust manifold by the heat shield you will see it. It screws into the exhaust and has a single wire coming out of it running back toward the drivers side of the engine. Easy to change
You need to get the temperature sensor repaired or, more likely, replaced.
Yes it can hurt your engine to drive with a bad knock sensor. The knock sensor should be replaced as soon as possible.
If a sensor it 'tripped', once it is replaced, you need to reset the computer to eliminate the 'check engine' light. Mitz. recommends you take it to them to have this done at a cost of $15.00, but you can pull the negative power line from the battery and it will do the same thing.
your knock sensor could need to be replaced
My stability system disabled signal kept coming on as well as the low engine power signal. The gas pedal sensor had to be replaced to fix it.
clean your maf(mass air flow sensor)
