it could be your window switch..try changing it
u wont pass emission, but nothing u will get more horse power.
first of all have you tried to have your car on and pressing the button. some of the older cars you have to have the car on or at least turned to where the dash lights turn on like the engine light for it to work
Your shift linkage may have slipped or become loose. Check your linkage.
check gearbox oil level first could be low on fluid dextron 2
Older Chevy's have a steering lock when the key isn't in the ignition.
did you check your battery and alternator?
Ran out of gas? Or ran out of oil?
Mine turns on while parked and wont turn off till I start it. Its a problem with the BCM. Body control module.
I have the same problem in my caprice, what you need to do is just sit there and switch it to high for a few minutes, then eventually if you keep playing with it it will turn off when you switch it to the far left
