It's very possible as the heated mirrors and the rear defogger are tied together.
I have a 2003 Chevy Impala and I am bringing it to my mechanic, the dealer said it could be just a blown fuse and also may be the switch, i can get back to you on it. Deb

What year impala? For 2000-2004, the actual ground wire is Pin F on the heated seat relay driver (control module) located underneath the seat. That ground wire comes from the main harness coming from underneath the carpet to the seat, and ultimately ties into a body bolt below the drivers opening, rear of the left A pillar.
check fuses
There can be many reasons why the heated seats in a car stopped working. A few reasons are, the fuse could be blow, the wiring could be out, the switch could be broken, or it is not getting enough electricity.
The terminals should not get heated up. If one is getting heated up it probably has a dirty connection. Ventilate the area and let the battery cool down before working on it.
maybe the switch is broken or the fuse/relay has gone??
A very common cause for heated seats not working is that the heater element has burned out on either the cushion heater element or the seat back element. The way the system is wired, if one goes bad, neither will work.- techJK ----------------------------------------------------------
Warm wax should be heated to 40-43 degrees.
A thermocouple is two different metals in contact with each other that generate a voltage when heated.
the fuse for the heated seat runs multiple items so it is not listed anywhere, but under dash on left side of drivers side in black box take off the nut and take cover off, there is a 30amp curcuit breaker listed as heated seat .hope this helps
