the first thing i would check would be whether or not you have a check engine light on or a code stored. secondly a simple thing you can do is to disconnect the idle air solenoid and see if it runs that way. sometimes this part will stick open or shut allowing to much or not enough air in the idle circuit. the part is cheap and easy to replace. if all of that is OK a fuel pump module may be the problem, with help have someone turn the key to the run position while you listen at the tank for a pump running sound should be a buzzing noise you cant miss it. If you have no sound smack the tank hard on the underside dead center several times with a piece of wood and try again to start it, if you have a running pump try changing your fuel filter. always go cheapest to most expensive. good luck!
Could be a plugged fuel filter.

go and have your brakes checked out it could be anumber of things but have it checked out and they can tell you exactly what is wrong!
