Yes, oil can leak through the switch.
if your pressure switch acts up at all, replace it.
You will definitely lose all of your Freon when you replace the high pressure switch. Once the high pressure switch is loosen the Freon will begin to access the system.
could be oil is low or in need of a oil and filter change. n0rt
Sounds like the head light switch went bad or a lose wire. If you drive for a long time with the lights on the plastic on the switch will melt making the pins lose. Another thing to check are the fuses. It could just be a ground some where. But I would start at the switch
Indirectly, yes.
applying pressure to the brake pedal
You can lose MPG or have a blowout or flat.
could be a bad switch or a lose wire
Your car could be losing brake pressure because you have a bad ABS control module. It also could be a bad brake booster.
The compressor would continue to operate until the high pressure safety switch shut it down, if the switch failed the pressure relief device would blow and you would lose all of the refrigerant. As far as how high would the pressure get, the settings on the two devices depend on what type of refrigerant is used and you do not mention that.
No , if you lose oil pressure you should shut off the engine as soon as safely possible
Sounds like it could be the brake lamp switch. That's what it was on mine.
