Yes. Every living thing needs some sunshine. Dogs should either be played with out in the backyard or taken for walks at least twice a day for that exercise. It keeps them healthy (you too) and happy. If you are working and can't do this then hire someone you trust (even a child as young as 12) and pay them money to walk your dog at least once during the day. There are also Dog Walking Services. Instead of filling your pet full of vitamins get out during the day with the dog and go for a walk. It will do you both good. Bring the water along for the dog too. There is a new packet made from a material that you can attach to yourself and it opens up into a dish and you can pour some of your own water into it for your dogs. Dogs get over heated and dehydrated just like humans.

Vitamin K is necessary for the production of Clotting Factors II, VII, IX and X. So a vitamin K deficiency could lead to a bleeding disorder. Additionally vitamin K is necessary for the production of the anticoagulant protein C and protein S. Inhibition of Vitamin K function is also associated with clotting disorders though for this to occur there has to be a deficiency in either proteins C or S.

What vitamin deficiency could cause night blindness?

Its simple.. Night blindness is a disease caused by deficiency of vitamin A. Less vitamin A means synthesis of rhodopsin is stunted which affects our ability to see and distinguish light and dark color objects.. With the help of rod cells..its a defficiency disease so it can be overcomed with correct administration of vitamins. Iodopsin is far more stable than rhodopsin and is affected much later on, and rarely. And when it does affect iodopsin, it affects clarity of vision, not color vision as this one is genetic disorder rather than deficiency one.
