DTC P0480 on your 2000 impala car overheats drivers side fan was locked up replaced fans and drivers side only works with ac on suggestions please?

This is normal. Only one fan is suppose to work with the A/C on. The other fan works when needed.

If you have not replaced the fuel filter in the last 50,000 miles replace it. Also replace the spark plugs and plug wires if you have not done so. Of course replace the air filter every 30,000 miles.
