Hardly. Great Britain and Canada were the only two countries with which the US shared the secret of nuclear weapons. Soviet spies stole the knowledge from the US to create their own nuclear arsenal in 1948. Other WMDs, chemical and germ weapons, were developed independently.
Continuously allow UN weapons inspectors to make sure that Iraq was not trying to create weapons of mass destruction.

i8t is counted as an accident like your life

Igor Kurchatov,
In order for something to be successful, it has to have goals. The only goals of the Iraq War that are clear were to get Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and to create a democracy. There were no weapons of mass destruction and Iraq is not necessarily a democracy. Additionally hundreds of thousands of Iraqis died and a few thousand coalition soldiers died. It would seem like the Iraq War was not successful.
World War II helped bring the United States of America out of its economic depression. Allied countries needed the U.S.A. to create weapons for their soldiers.
They both create destruction.
Self defense.
It made US create NASA to compete with the Soviets.
This is a "push" question designed to create an opinion just by asking. Certainly the Republicans and other political figures have their reasons for actions, not really to destroy the country.
tools + metal =weapons; weapons + poison = poison weapon
