Of course he knew about snow! Snow is mentioned throughout the Old Testament starting as far back as Moses; also a man is mentioned killing a lion on a snowy day, the prophets speak of snow, and it is used to describe Jesus' appearance on two occasions. Snow regularly falls on Mount Hermon in northern Israel and occasionally in Jerusalem and the ranges nearby. There is no reason to assume that Jesus and His hearers would not have been aware of this. Yes, Jesus knows what snow is. People in Jesus' region are aware of what snow is. He was described by John of Revelation as; " 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; It depends if you are thinking about a spiritual or an actual knowledge.
The reference above from Revelation is an appearance 'as' snow and is also part of John's experience 'in the spirit' and so was on a spiritual plane although nonetheless real.
Possibly the questioner is referring to Jesus' life while on earth. Snow regularly falls in the Middle East today where the mountains are high enough. Jesus certainly would have known about this. Snow, even today falls in Jerusalem around every 5 to 7 years. On Mount Hermon this is much more common due to its height. If not having gone there or personally experienced this in just over 30 years Jesus certainly would have known about it.
