Most countries were quite aware that the Cambodian democide was going on; they simply did not care to intervene. The US justified its non-intervention by citing exhaustion after the Vietnam War. Ultimately, it was Vietnam that invaded Cambodia and overthrew Pol Pot, ending the Cambodian democide.

UN:, U.S, France, Canada, Australia, Vietnam, Thailand...

  • Thailand helped Cambodian, but many Cambodians also got killed by Thai. Cambodians were happy because they knew that Thai was going to help them; most Cambodian were got helped from Thai as the UN asked Thai to. Cambodians also had been killed by Thai; while Cambodian were on the truck that led them to refugee camp, Thai dropped them into the valley. Thai just jealous or maybe hated Cambodians. My neighbors had survived from Thai and told me this story, one of them goes nut b/c he was a kid while he was running from Thai and also had illness.
  • Vietnam also helped, but they did not just helped for free, they looking for something that Cambodia could make for them. Today Vietnam controls Cambodian's President. Our President also married Vietnamese too. Vietnam did the same thing just like in the 100s years ago, they helped but their help is not FREE.
  • If you think what I say is lie, send me a message and explain why I am wrong, or tell me what you think. I like to know other's point of views about the work I've done. Thank you!

Well there are alot of reasons why other countries did not get involved but I believe the main reason was because the other countries said it was not their problem.
