yes many did and many people died
The 2 cities in Japan that were bombed by the US in World War 2 are Hiroshima & Nagasaki. There is barely any remains of the attack anymore. Much of it has been cleaned up and rebuilt. There are a few memorials and there are still marks on the walls which are actually vaporized humans that were vaporized during the bombing. The two cities that were bombed in Japan were:Hiroshima (6th August 1945)Nagasaki (9th August 1945)
In short yes, Peterhead was bombed during ww2. The close proximity of Peterhead airfield, and other key sites such as the naval base at Peterhead docks made it a prime target. This unfortunately resulted in Peterhead being bombed a number of times, with quite a heavy loss of life. James St was bombed on 29th September 1941 and killed 30 people for instance. Im afraid i cant name any other specific incidents. Good luck!
There is but one example. A US Ship in Bari harbour Italy in 1943 was carrying Mustard shells. It was bombed by the Germans & Mustard was in the water burning the survivors. Gas was never used in combat.
No
Yes. Trains all over Europe and in Asia and Japan, England and elsewhere were bombed. The saddest was when trains carrying POWs and Jews were bombed when the pilots did not know they were inside the train cars.
Germany never bombed any Japanese cities during World War 2. They were allied to each other during that war.
yes many did and many people died
Paris wasn't bombed but apart from that I don't think that there were any European cities that weren't bombed during World War II. Some were completely obliterated.
Yes, Darwin was bombed by Japanese carrier aircraft
Florence Street, Islington N.1
People where? In any of the theatres of war they were likely to be invaded, bombed, shot, conscripted into the local army, deprived of food and other things they were accustomed to.
Australias' northern cities, Darwin and Broome, were repeatedly bombed by Japanese aircraft during World War 2.
After World War 1 the Germans were forced to pay restitution and reparation funds to the nations they destroyed. They did not have any more money to take care of themselves. They did not get bombed in their own nation in that war. After World War 2 they received help from the United States under the Marshall Plan and they helped them when they occupied Germany for nearly ten years. The US paid the German people salaries to repair their own country the US and Britain had bombed.
Hitler did wont to rule the world, but he couldn't so he turned bad and bombed London and alot more of places leaving hardly any people in their country because hes dum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because they weren't constantly bombed like ther countries which had their infrastructure destroyed. As far as I am aware, not a single bomb fell on mainland United States during World War 2.
