to disconnect the wires on the 02 sensors you need to squeeze the release clamp on the wirind harness. when pressure is applied at the clamp pull the 2 connecting harnesses apart.
4 wires, the black ones are the O2 heater (on the sensor side), the white and green are the O2 sensor itself
The O2 sensor on a 2000 Hyundai Elantra is removed by disconnecting the wiring harness and unscrewing the sensor from its housing. It can then be removed from the vehicle, inspected, and replaced if needed.

It has a conector, just un plug it. Then remove the 02 sensor from the exhaust.
the o2 sensor is in the exaust manifold or down pipe it looks like a sparkplug with wires
It resembles a spark plug with wires attached.
The oxygen sensor for a 1996 Infiniti I30 has 3 wires. The car actually has two O2 sensors, a front and a rear. Both sensors are the three-wire type.
The O2 sensor on most cars is somewhere between the air intake and the engine, it is an electrical component which has a wire/wires connected to it.
There should be plugs where you unplug your old o2 sensor plug at. If you havent done that then just follow the wire from the plug.
By "exhaust manifold sensor" do you mean the O2 or oxygen sensor? The only sensor I know of on a exaust manifold is the O2 sensor and if you follow the manifold you will see 2 sensors sticking out they will have (usually) green wires coming from them
on most vw golfs before the cat and has 4 wires
It is a specially designed socket that has a slit on the side so you can connect it to the O2 sensor and have the O2 sensor wires come through that slit. You can get them at Sears and probable auto parts stores. They work well. HTH
