not in the in the sense that Adam and Eve were man and woman. But that both Adam and Eve symbolize the beginning of creation with Adam as the symbol for the archetypal model upon which man is formed and Eve symbolizing pure matter which gave form for Spirit to manifest. Adam - Eve are sexless because Spirit and Matter is sexless and in essence are united as One.
Buddhism isn't into creation stories whether for the Universe or for the human race. In general Buddhists feel that pursuing interesting but unless questions detracts from the self introspective behaviour that allows one to eventually reach enlightenment. It should be pointed out that the belief in Adam and Eve is a facet of the Abrahamic belief system and mythology. Members of those faiths (Jews, Christians and Moslems) do not believe in the creation stories of other faiths (No Frost Giants from the Norse or Napi from North American fist nations, no Brahma creating humans in the lotus flower,)
Not exactly. But you may be thinking of the Buddhist perspective of the beginning of life and mankind. There are Buddhist teachings about the beginning of life on earth and how it evolved into what we know as life today.
It started when heavenly creatures descended to earth and suckled the earthly nutrition. They used to have radiant bodies of light; but developed soft bodies and lost their radiance due to craving of this earthly nutrition. As they were feeding on the earthly nutrition, plant life developed in the form of creepers, and then mushrooms, and later shrubs and grains. As they were feeding on these, their bodies grew harder, and they started walking on earth.
In the beginning, there were no sexes, and they lived very long lives. As they looked in to each other with lust, they developed two sexes. According to Buddhist text, the man and woman differentiated because of lust among/towards each other.
There were no single man and woman but a large group of heavenly creatures descended from above and trapped here because of their craving for earthly nutrition.

Adam and eve were reunited on earth where all the humanity began
well its hard to say it depends on your religion if your a Cristian then you believe that Adam and eve where first
If you believe the story of Adam and Eve to be a myth then it has no relevance at all. But if you believe the story to be true then it has great relevance. Because the story tells how man's relationship with God, the creator and sustainer of life, was broken when Adam and Eve disobeyed God. Also everybody born since Adam and Eve is born without a relationship with God.
