Politians where delighted for the most part and most scientists were too until the scientists developped the bomb and then they begged the politicians not to use it.

They certainly should, but sometimes it seems that they haven't studied it enough. Scientists have made it clear what are the causes and how they can be remedied, but politicians just don't seem to be doing anything. Maybe we should let them know how we feel!
