A Siamese Fighting Fish can see its reflection in a mirror.
No. Fish can not knock themselves out, but they can get stressed out from hitting their head on their tank.
they see a reflection of themselves in the glass and think it is another fish
yes because there used to the tank and they become nocturnal
No, because they will die!
it depends on how big it is if it is a goldfish or beta it can be in a bowl.If it is one of those big tiger fish or aqarium fish then put it in a big tank. A fish will grow to the size of the tank or bowl. For instance, say a goldfish is in a tank, it will not grow as big as the tank; however it will grow big enough to be able to swim in their environment. The fish will not overgrow the tank. I had a six inch goldfish in a thirty gallon tank.
A fish tank would be considered an ecosyestem because there is a living thing in it. (the fish)
Every fish will make your tank dirty because every fish puts out waste.
all you have to do to tame your beta fish so that it does not attack other fish in the same tank is put mirrors on the outside of what ever bowl it's in. then it can get used to itself and learn to not be threatened by other fish. wait about a week with the mirrors on the sides of its bowl and then you can put another fish in it's bowl. i have done it and it works trust me it's amazing.
There really isn't much that you can do. The babies will have to fend for themselves. If you have plants and such in the tank they may be able to hide, but a few will be found by hungry adult fish.
They can't. That's why you don't put them in a tank with fish!
no because if its a freshwater tank the rain has salt in it
It might be unsafe to drink because fish food, fish scales, fish waste, and many different kinds of bacteria are in fish tank water.
