well......................... it depends you should not put two together in the same tank unless each is ready to mate to tell the females will have a stripe the length of her body. males will make bubbles on the top of his tank. if you do when not ready the may fight you should know that when ready to mate put in a different tank ext. they will play by chasing each other and will bite do not mistake this for fighting and take them away from each other. they will feel bad.
