no, we don't
From BlergK: I love how we have answers such as these. Yes and no is the answer. The question is vague. When cooking you can add anything to anything, though it might not turn out well. That being said, pasta in general, or (macaroni...seriously and literally, that is the Italian word for it...though the food itself was brought from Asia rather than invented in Italy...) any sort of Italian noodle dish associated with this. Cooking can be complicated, and WHEN you add, if you do, butter, can change things. When you cook the pasta, when you cook the meat, when you cook the sauce (if there is one). Adding butter does two things, usually adding a coagulating agent, a coating/tenderizing agent, and as a flavor enhancer, adding fat and salt to the existing dish.
add Marmite and butter
Knife and fork? Add lemon zest and parsley to the butter. It's delicious.
veggies, meat, butter, salt that is if it's already cooked
Shrimp Scampi is a fairly simple dish that requires few ingredients and only a little bit of time. You will need shrimp, butter, minced garlic, white wine, lemon juice, parsley, salt and pepper, grated parmesan, and cooked pasta. You will need to melt the butter with the garlic in a large skillet. You will then add the shrimp, wine and lemon juice. Cook that for about 2 minutes then add you parmesan, salt, pepper and parsley; and pour over your pasta.
You first take pasta and boil it for 10 to 15 min.Take the boiled pasta and remove extra water, toss it with butter or oil. Then heat a pan and add pasta sauce available at the market or with the onions and tomatoes to make a simple pasta with spices. You can make you own sauce by using tomatoes and other herbs. Then add pasta to the sauce and cook it for 5 to 10 min(s) till it is soaked in the sauce.
My favorite penne pasta recipe is as follows: Cook 1 cup of dry penne pasta according to package directions. While the pasta cooks, melt 2 tbsp of butter in a saucepan, then add 1 cup of room-temperature milk and stir until smooth. Add 1 cup of parmesean cheese and stir until smooth. Add cooked penne with a little of the pasta cooking water and fold to combine. Add herbs to taste and stir to combine.
pasta with butter is unhealthy for many reasons... FIRST, pasta has no food value and just turns into natural sugar inside your body.SECOND, the butter is actually the healthiest thing in that meal. So i think you should stick to eating pasta with meat sauce so it will have at least a LITTLE food value.

Make sure your pasta sauce is thick and the pasta is well drained. A good restaurant trick is to put several ladles of sauce into a large skillet and add just enough pasta for two people at a time. Heat sauce and pasta together shaking pan well to thoroughly coat the pasta.
Chicken alfredo is chicken breast and pasta tossed with a sauce made of butter and parmesan cheese. The cheese melts and thickens in the butter, making a rich sauce.

Pasta is pasta, whether it is cooked or not. They should be the same. The only difference would be if you added something (butter, oil, sauce, ect.) to the cooked pasta.
