They have a lot of similarities but there are several distinctions.

Animal cells are round, have Lysosomes, small Vacuoles, and all have centrioles.

Plant cells are usually a fixed rectangular shape, have a cell well in addition to the membrane, rarely have cilia, have one vacuole that takes up 90% of cell volume and have Plastids.

What components of the plant cell are also in the animal cell?

Essentially plant cells and animal cells share all of the same basic components. Nucleus, Ribosome, Golgi, Mitochondria, Endoplasmic Reticulum and the list goes on. Plant cells have three structures that animal cells do to not. They are a Cell wall that is outside the plasma membrane, chloroplasts, and vacuoles.

Do plant and animal cells have the same parts?

Plants and animals have the same cell structure except plants have chloroplast. Chloroplast causes plant's green coloring. It is the part of the plant that does photosynthesis and makes the plant green.

Plant and animal cells have certain structures in common they also have certain structures that are different Why?

They both evolved from the same multicellular organisms, so they have structures in common. But they did that a long time ago, so they have evolved different structures.

Do plant cells specialize in the same way animal cells do?

Plant cells do specialize but not in the same way as animal cells. Animal cells have specialized cells such as nerve cells, reproductive cells or muscle cells etc. Plant cells do not have any of those. But Plant cells have other specialized cells such as photosynthesis cells, epidermal cells etc. Both Animal and Plant cells have specialized cells that perform a specific function to keep the cell/organism alive.

How do animal cells look like?

A cell of a dog is an animal cell, and animal cells are microscopic. Animal cells don't have a cell wall or chloroplasts. Plant cells do. Plant cells and animal cells both have a cell membrane, mitchondria, vacuoles, nucleus, and cytoplasm. Animal cells are disformed or roundish and plant cells are square and boxlike.

What kind of vacuoles could a cell have?

Both plant and animal cells have the same types of vacuoles but, plant cells' are bigger than an animal cells'

Do animal cells have cell mambranes?

Yes. Animal cells are the same as human cells. Plant cells are a little different.

What are found in animal cells but not in plant cells?

Even though, animals and plants share the same domain they are fundamentally different. Plants have cryptoskeletons that are mostly formed of rigid cell walls while the cryptoskeletons in animals are mostly actin filaments.

What structures are found in plants cells but not found in animal cells?

Plant cells have a cell wall, but animal cells do not.Plant cells have chloroplasts and chlorophyll, but animal cells do not.Plant cells contain plastids, but animal cells do not.Plant cells generally have a more rectangular shapebecause the cell wall is more rigid. Animal cells have a round or irregular shape because they do not have a cell wall.Plants cells usually have one or more large vacuole(s), while animal cells have smaller vacuoles, if any are present.cell wallchloroplastglyoxysomesthe cell structures mentioned above are only found in plant's cell, not in animal cell.Structures that are found in plant cells and not in animal cells are: 1) A cell wall; this is a thick layer around the outside of the plant cell made of a substance called cellulose. The job of the cell wall is to strengthen and support the cell.2) A central vacuole; this is a space in the centre of the cell filled with a watery solution called cell sap. The sap contains salts, sugars, amino acids and wastes. As well as storing these substances the vacuole helps to support the cell.3) Chloroplasts; these are structures containing the green pigment called chlorophyll, which traps sunlight. Their job is to make food for the plant by the process of photosynthesis.the structures that are found in plant cells and not animal cells are chloroplast and cell wall. There are not cell walls in animal cells, but plant cells have cell walls to protect them. Chloroplasts are in plant cells, but not in animal cells. Chloroplasts are used for making energy. The vacuoles are sometimes found in animal cells, but not like in plant cells. In plant cells there is one large central vacuole, and it is always present. In animal cells there are small ones, but they only come when they are needed and are not always present.Cell walls and Chloroplast are only in plant cells. They would not be found in animal cells unless its a hybrid mutant. There are 2 structures found in plant cells but not animals cells and one structure that is modified. Plant cells carry chloroplasts which utilize sunlight for glucose synthesis. They also have a cell wall which protects the cell from burtsing with high amounts of osmotic pressure. Animal cells don't have either of those. Plant cells have a single large vacuole for stored products whereas animal cells have many smaller vacuoles. An animal cell has mitochondria which plant cells do not. Plant cells also tend to have a large vacuole, while animal cells have much smaller ones or none.

Do animal and plant cells reproduce the same way?

no

Is Golgi bodies in plant or animal cells?

Golgi bodies are found in both plant and animal cells. There may in fact be more Golgi bodies per cell in plant cells than in animal cells. Golgi Apparatus is found in both animal and plant cells. It is known as dictyosomes in plant cells and Golgi complex in animal cells. But the function remains the same.
