Since WW1, all servicemen are school trained first; boot camp then advanced training...then combat. Prior to WW1, servicemen joined up, went to their regiments...where ever they were, and commenced their duties.
When have they, exactly? Special operations units from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and CIA were in Iraq well before the ground invasion started, and the initial push into Iraq involved all branches simultaneously. The Rangers went into Afghanistan when the Marines did. The 82nd Airborne Division of the Army are where the first troops to respond to the 1990 invasion of Kuwait came from. Panama was mostly an Army affair, Grenada involved Navy SEALs and Army Rangers who went in-country before the Marines did, the first advisors to the South Vietnamese were from the Army. The Marine battalions were sent in initially to guard airfields to protect them from attacks by the Viet Cong, but the first major combat action in Vietnam was undertaken by the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army. So I suppose that your question would have to be based on fact before it could be legitimately answered. LOL the army had to send its best with the everyday marines ^^^^ lol all i see is marines and the best of the rest of the branches... lol not gonna say anything about the marines best huh. LOL ^ The marines best? lolwut? Marines are constantly being bailed out by the Army, not only that, i hope your not talking about marine recon? The are the same as a regular grunt except they are light armour.
Pizzaro didn't go to school; he grew up illiterate.
Marines do not go "AWOL" they go UA -Unauthorized Absence- Absent With out Leave is an Army term, but to answer your question "no" there is not a list that i know of.
no one knows!
Yes
War, the air force is the only branch that allows you to go into school first
High-school Diploma
No. Marines that go to dive school do so through the Navy.
Yes. All enlisted Marines must complete boot-camp and either school of infantry or Marine combat training, regardless of previous service in another branch.
No, you do not have to be a Recon Marine to attend the USMC Combat Diver Course. However, the course is primarily attended by Recon Marines, as it is part of their specialized training. Other Marines, such as Force Reconnaissance and certain Special Operations units, may also attend the course.
no because in all the halo's you may go into space. but in halo wars, the game is based on Marines and halo so no.
They go to Ft. Benning for the Army Airborne training. There were a few in my class.
yes Marine officers to go in combat. Atleast mine did Yes. If a Marine officer's job takes them and their Marines into harms way, they will go into combat regardless of his military occupational specialty (MOS). Every Marine is a rifleman. Every Marine officer is trained as an infantry officer first. Marine pilots are all officers. Squadrons are in the odd position of the enlisted men sending their officers out to fight (with the exception of the enlisted men who are gunners on aircraft with crew served weapons).
do marines go to training on Sunday
No, not all Marines go through Officer Candidate School (OCS). OCS is specifically for individuals who want to become commissioned officers in the Marine Corps. Enlisted Marines, on the other hand, undergo different training programs to prepare them for their specific roles and responsibilities.
Basic Training (or Basic Combat Training) is a term exclusive to the US Army and Air Force - the Marines refer to it as Boot Camp. US Marines attend their Boot Camp either at MCRD Parris Island (in South Carolina) or MCRD San Diego (in California).
Yes. To be a "cook" in the Marines you enlist, go through boot camp, and they assign you your job. They will give you a test to see what you would be good doing, and promise you what you want to hear, but it doesn't mean you will end up where you want. If you want to be a chef the Marines is not the place to be. Go to a culinary school to be trained.
