About 6 days.
Depends on the vehicle. Sometimes you can pull up on the glass and push the button and the motor will move just a little bit. Eventually, you will get the window up. If that doesn't work, you have to take the inside panel off. Some motors unbolt from the assembly, you take the motor off and raise the window and reinstall the motor to keep it up. This is easy for most newer cars that use a track to raise and lower the window. Older models, before the early 80's have a spring in the assembly to help raise the window. If you take the motor out on this type, you run the risk of loosing a finger. The window will raise quickly and if you are between the arms of the assembly, it is just like a pair of scissors. If you can't take the motor out, some are made as part of the track assembly, you can remove the bolts or nuts that hold the bottom of the window to the assembly. There should be two bolts on the bottom edge of the glass, either a Phillips head or more likely a bolt with a 10 mm head. Take the bolts out and block the window up.
inside the oil pan, but you have take off the front of the motor to get to it. you only need a little room in the oil pan to get your hand in for two bolts.
around to ten years
When changing motor mounts, the engine will are to be supported while the mount is removed. Using a jack with a board across the top to distribute the weight, raise the board against the oil pan. Unbolt one motor mount. Gently raise the engine till the motor mount can be removed. Repeat for the other side. Take caution on to raise the engine high enough to damage any hoses and wires, and be careful that the board does not slid causing the engine to fall.
