Only if it's bad. Be careful when removing..
Replace high tension coil wire. Probably time to replace all the spark plug wires.
you have to replace all of your spark plug wires. there is a coil built into the top of each boot that goes over each spark plug. that's why the wires are so costly.
Remove the coil pack for the spark plug. With a deep socket or spark plug socket, remove the plug. Taking care to not cross thread or bend the plug tip, screw in the new plug to approximately 13 pounds of torque. Replace the coil pack. Repeat for each plug.
Remove the coil on top of the plug, and there is the spark plug.
To much resistance in the spark plug wires, replace the spark plug wires.
Remove the coil that is on top of the plug, then the plug.

You should have C.O.P. ( coil on plug) there are no wires.
There's a separate coil for every cylinder, and they are located right on top of each spark plug. You have to remove the access covers over the coils (one for the left bank, another for the right), disconnect the wiring from the coil, and pull the coil off the spark plug. When replacing the coil, use air and a rag to clean dirt and deposits on and around the spark plug, and apply special grease to the spark plug boot before inserting over the spark plug (this seals the moisture out of the spark plug connection). Then clean or replace the gaskets on the 2 coil bank covers before re-installing them.
Remove the coil on top of the plug. There's the spark plug.
