Usually sonograms are not done until 8 weeks of pregnancy. Did you do the home test or blood test? If you are still concerned, ask your doctor for a blood pregnancy test.

Can one have intercourse at any point in pregnancy?

In most cases, yes. Always ask your doctor at sonogram appointments if intercourse is still okay and nonharmful for both you and the developing baby. If there is a complication in your pregnancy, often doctors advise to take it easy, including with sexual activity.

Is there a specific way to call ultrasound for pregnancy?

No, it's still called an ultrasound or a sonogram.

Is it possible to knowing about fertilization occurs or not with sonography after one day of intercourse?

If sperm from intercourse met an egg which had already been released there would have been 24hrs for the pregnancy to establish. The zygote divides once every 20hr or so meaning there would be either 1, 4 or 8 cells present in the fallopian tube. A sonogram cannot pick up such small objects. Even if it could sperm from the act of intercourse could be viable for another day (48hrs in total) and so pregnancy from that act could result after the scan.

If I had 4 positive urine pregnancy tests and I went to the doctor and he couldn't find anything in the sonogram he administered so he had me do a blood test could 4 home pregnancy tests be wrong?

yes the home pregnancy test is wrong because accuracy wise the blood test for pregnancy which more clinics and hospitals use is more accurate than urine test for pregnancy which is the one frequently used in home pregnancy test or the quick kit test for pregnancy.

How soon can an internal sonogram show pregnancy?

An internal sonogram can show pregnancy as soon as 4 weeks. There will likely show an amniotic sac which is the first to form during pregnancy. Within a week after that you can see the fetus start to form. The heartbeat will likely show around 8 weeks.

Do you know why sonogram is showing no signs of pregnancy in uterus when pregnancy test comes out positive Maybe I am to early into pregnancy because I had unprotected sex on July 11 and 13.?

There are a few reasons that this could happen: 1) You were pregnant within the last 12 weeks and you still have the hormones circulating in your blood (either just delivered a baby, had a miscarriage, or an abortion). 2) You have what is called a "chemical pregnancy" where your body starts the work of being pregnant by making the hormones (which causes a positive pregnancy test) but never actually starts making the embryo. 3) You are pregnant but the embryo has implanted outside of your uterus (like in your fallopian tube) - this is called an ectopic pregnancy and is very dangerous. If you start having abdominal pain this is a symptom of this type of pregnancy - CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY! 4) Some medications can cause increases in your HCG level (the pregnancy hormone). 5) There are medical disorders that may cause increased HCG levels. 6) The ultrasound machine had poor resolution and the technician was unable to see your tiny embryo (not the likely cause - but a possibility). You should talk to your doctor so that he/she can determine what the cause is for you.

If you haven't had a period though only one sonogram how can you determine when you conceived?

The size and development of the fetus viewed on the sonogram indicates the age and therefore gives a good estimate of date of conception. The age is more closely determined in early pregnancy and becomes a little less accurate as the fetus grows but it is still possible to estimate the age of the fetus throughout the pregnancy.

Can you be pregnant if tests are negative but sonogram shows a baby?

Yes. Home pregnancy tests only read up to a certain amount of hCG or the pregnancy hormone. Anything above that number would read negative.
