Actually, liquor does freeze, only at far lower temperatures than water. That is because alcohol has a much lower freezing point, like the antifreeze we put in car radiators to keep the water from freezing in cold weather. Liquor does freeze but at a lot lower temperature than water, this is due to the alcoholic content. The higher the alcohol content the lower the temperature need to freeze it
No
Alcohol content varies depending upon the spirit, the brand and other particulars. For instance, several makers of vodka offer several varieties with different levels of alcohol content. Many states have laws preventing grocery stores from selling spirits other than beer and wine, which are inherently lower in proof than pure spirits. However, those spirits sold in grocery stores are not altered just for alcohol content, so the same brand and type of wine will have the same proof no matter where it is purchased.
The alcohol content of beer in California can't exceed 4% by volume or 3.2% in weight. Anything higher has to be considered a malt liquor, ale, stout etc...... Some beers however have less. Light beers usually have less alcohol in them.
