As a former professor of Constitutional Law, he applies the Constitution to his every day life and as president, even if his personal views may vary. This is evident in his recent decision that equality under law is a Constitutional right for those in the LGBT community who have not been treated as the Constitution guarantees: that ALL are created equal. There are no exceptions listed in the Constitution.
Additionally, his beloved mother was Caucasian, as were his very close grandparents, with whom he lived in Hawaii during his pre-teen and teen years. He has given no indications in his personal life, and certainly none in his political life, of having animosity or bigotry toward people of the Caucasian race, or any race. Generalized thinking is born of ignorance and is killed by education. He seems to have an inclusive and warm relationship with people of all kinds, including those who differ greatly from him.
