nope, not for a fan anyways, for alternator, water pump ect it does
There is no fan belt on any year Fiero. Electric fan motor,
There are 2 belts on my 1984. Inside belt crank shaft to water pump to alternator, should be a 50". Outside belt crank shaft to A/C, should be a 40" belt.
i have had fiero gts over heat all the time its like watching the sun rise too me normally its thermostat not opening but if that's not it then its the fan switch not telling the fan to turn on
There is no fan belt it is all electric at least for 97 and later models.
theres no fan belt on front wheel drive motors. only a fan motor
Do you have the single speed fan or two speed? Are you measuring the engine compartment blower as well? Mine read 4.5 amps
I believe it to be on the fan belt mechanisim..the pulley that allows you to adjust the tension.
This is a pretty simple system The most common failure is the sensor But the relay located under the left front headlight or the fuse could fail And lastly the fan could be bad
Three basic reasons The fan does not work The cooling system has an air lock (very common) Cracked head, this engine is notorious for doing this

use ratchet on square hole on tensioner to pull it back and loosen belt
you need to remove the top engine mount
