Older model civics 92-95 (5th Generation) have only ONE o2 sensor located on the front of the exhaust header - model 1996 and later have two.
In the forums its kind of hard to tell since its about 60/40 ratio of people who claim one or two sensors on this model year, possibly because its the last of the 5th gen body style and gets confused with the 6th gen which only looked a little different. My mechanic said there is only one, so I am going to go with that as it seems to echo the most authoritative voices on the forum who tend to correct the ones who say there are two.
All O2 sensors are located somewhere on the exhaust system.
Can you tell me all the sensors on 93 1.5 civic
probably one located just after the engine on the exhaust. by now this sensor will be stuffed
m18x1.5 is the threading for Honda civic/del sols, and probably most other o2 sensor bungs
Os sensors are always in the exhaust. Look either in the exhaust manifold or right after the exhaust manifold. HTH
4 wires, the black ones are the O2 heater (on the sensor side), the white and green are the O2 sensor itself
All O2 sensors are screwed into the exhaust system.
