I believe it does
Where is the gas filter located on a 1995 F150XL pickup with duel gas tanks?
broken wire or bad switch
If it has duel tanks then it has 2 pumps, 1 per tank.
It has 1 fuel pump in each fuel tank. Some trucks have duel tanks.
only if it has duel tanks installed other wise there's only one...
Ford has a recall out on some f series trucks with duel tanks, for the conditions you describe. They also had problems with certain fuel pressure regulators.Contact a dealer to see if your truck is on the recall.
30 gallons per tank.
Check your suction lines and pickup tube on the tanks.
The 1948 F150 was the last year with a carberator. The mechanical fuel pump was on the side of the motor. Some carberated models may have had a single electric pump with a six port selector valve. 1985 and newer had fuel injection with electric fuel pumps mounted in the tanks. Some early fuel injected may have had low pressure lift pumps in the tanks and a single high pressure pump after the tank selector valve. It also had another mecanism called a "Dual Function Reservoir" that returned the unused fuel to the correct tank.
Maybe one of the kick panels if you are talking about the safety switch it is on passenger side kick panel just feel around for the switch or remove kick panel. if you mean switch to switch tanks it is on your dash it changes the fuel pumps in tanks if you have duel tanks if you have a single tank there is a lil relay in the same place on dash. behind dash panel by head light switch.
There should only be one, inline on the frame.
IF ONE OF YOUR FUEL PUMPS IS BAD IT WILL NOT BUILD PRESSURE IN THE LINE BECAUSE IT WILL LEAK BACK TO THE BAD PUMP
