Adding an egg or two to the cooling system (radiator) can work to seal a leaky head gasket. If the leak is minor and does not involve the oil galleries (no oil water mixing) . I have done this to a mid 80's Subaru and a late 80's Buick with good results. Extra eggs may be needed after a few thousand miles, and eventually the cooling system will need to be cleaned out as overheating becomes more and more likely due to egg's clogging everything. Depending on the car this accumulation of egg can be extremely hard or expensive to remove. I have been lucky and made this temporary fix work of a few years, your mileage may vary.
