You either pry it off, slide it off, or squeeze it off, or some variation of these. you can put a small flathead screwdriver where the samll slot is on the plastic lens and pry it out, it should not need too much force. try tapping the lens first to see if you got a bad connection, don't worry, slap it pretty hard to see if works, if not then replace the bulb. good luck
