Does anyone know what will keep a 97 Taurus from shifting into overdrive all other gears shift properly you have changed the trans range sensor and the throttle positioning sensor and trans fluid can?

OD is achieved when the OD band holds the front planetary sun gear stationary. This is done by the OD servo and piston assembly, when fluid is directed there through a valve in the valve body. You could have a problem in any of those areas causing you not to have OD. The bottom line is, that transmssion is going to have to be dissassembled to fix your issue.
