Yes, the public can visit certain parts of Buckingham Palace but be sure to check opening times.
The most recommended London tour is the London Full-Day Sightseeing Tour. This tour takes one to the Tower of London, the changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral and a cruise on the Thames.
The cost of a complete tour is (from June 2014) 45 lei (cca. 10 euros).
The tour on Palace on Wheels can be expensive if you do not have the money to pay for it. You can set a budget for yourself and put money aside for the tour on Palace on Wheels so that you can afford it.
The London eye is very fun. The Tower of London is also great! The London bridge and buckingham palace! even a bus tour! British are friendly. and London is CLEANER than Paris.
A lot depends on the type of attraction that interests you but many tourists want to see Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Hyde Park, Cutty Sark, various museums and art galleries. It might be worth taking a bus tour - particularly one with a guide.
It didn't cost anything--we did buy a tour for the equipment and the ride out there, though.
