Yes. You need to unbolt the exhaust pipe from rear manifold and support engine and transaxle from above with engine hoist. Unbolt engine mounts and raise engine/transaxle to make clearance to remove oil pan. This is for V6 3.0 L engine.

On 302 5.0L models, the engine mounts need to be unbolted and the engine lifted up from the frame. I lifted by the crank pulley with a piece of wood in between the jack and pulley. The pan can be dropped partially to unbolt the oil pickup/pump from the engine and then the pan can be dropped.
Where are Points for lifted 3.5 l engine on 3003 concorde?
this is best if car is in the air. then put a jack under the engine/ crankshaft pully is where i put it on mine. then unbolt the mounts from the frame, then the bolts to the engine. and have the engine lifted enought to remove the old mounts and put the new ones in.
The oil pump is located inside the oil pan at the rear of the engine. So, to replace the oil pump, one must remove the oil pan. This will require that the engine be lifted at least 4", if not pulled completely out of the engine bay.
you must jack the engine up under the oil pan with a piece of wood on the jack so you dont bend the oil pan. then jack the engine up. once you have lifted the engine about 3 inches remove the bolts to the engine mount and put the new one on. after the new on is one drop the engine and your finished!
After removing the retaining screws, trim panel screws and either the manual window crank or the door switch panel and control switch assembly, grasp the trim panel and lift up and pull out at the same time. The trim panel has retaining hooks that must be lifted up to remove. Good luck!
With the car front end safely lifted, support the engine with a jack, using a board on top. Unbolt the motor mounts one at a time. Slightly lift the engine, then remove and replace the motor mount. Repeat for the other side.
It is located underneath the engine, near the intake manifold. The engine will have to be lifted up for it to be removed.
The alternator on a Hyundai 2.7 liter engine requires removal of the plastic covers on the passenger side and the vehicle to be lifted. After securing the car remove the plastic cover in the wheel well. Disconnect the battery. Locate the alternator and remove the bolts holding it to the engine as well as all the wire connections.
Unless you are talking about the 6.4 Powerstroke then they dont have a injection pump. However on a 6.4 the injection pump is in the drivers side engine compartment. to replace the pump the cab must be lifted off the frame of the truck. It is a complicated procedure and should only be performed by trained proffesionals.
no you don't but its kinda hard to reach if the car is not lifted off the ground i had to take it off when i put headers on my 04 tib v6
Because they are to be lifted by hand to expose the engine.
