the engine is identical in both, I have owned both and saw no difference in the exaust manifold.
Every Z24 engine in that date range have the same manifold, but I think the first couple of exhaust pipes past that are different in different body and 2or4WD versions, they certainly are different on the King-Cab. Then the rear pipes, muffler, etc. are the same.
On every vehicle there are two manifolds. An intake manifold and a exhaust manifold. The intake supplies fuel and air to the cylinders. The exhaust collects exhaust from those same cylinders.
It's in the same place as it is on a 1991. It's on the engine block under the rear exhaust manifold, very difficult to get to and remove. Tp remove it you will likely need to remove the rear manifold to have access to it.
NO.
Yes, they share the same gasket and bolts.
There are 3 oxygen sensors; one in the front exhaust manifold, one in the rear exhaust manifold, one AFTER the catalytic converter. The 2 exhaust manifold sensors are the same BUT the catalytic converter one is different. Also, the 2 exhaust manifold sensors have heaters in them, while the converter one doesn't.
It should be the same.. the standard jeep(left hand drive) the intake and exhaust are on the left side of the engine as well, so there is no need for a different manifold. so 99 % sure its the same manifold
no. the exhaust manifold is just the tubes coming off block or heads. the catalytic converter should be a separate piece that connects to the exhaust manifold that burns the unburned fuel to keep it from releasing those fumes into the air.
Its a bit of a job because it is held on by the same bolts as the intake manifold, and the easiest way is to remove them both, otherwise the rusted exhaust bolts holding the tubing to the manifold is the worst.
the engine block will be the same. you may have to keep the s-10 intake manifold and exhaust manifold to match up with the wire harnes and exhaust. should be easy
A broken piston ring is the most common cause of water in the exhaust manifold. A bad valve in the cylinder head can also cause the problem.
If same engine, yes.
yeeupp. Everything is the same besides the exhaust manifold...
