the temp control is not the problem. the air direction switch is most likely to be the problem
Might be a bad heater control
There is a fuseable link on the starter motor that could cause your problems. You pull them gently to check them, if they separate then that link is bad. All of the small wires should be fusable links. The big battery cable is not a fuseable link, but could have a bad connection at the starter.
the GEM module located behind the radio. it is a black box with a large connector that control wipers, 4x4 and a few other thing. expensive and fails for no good reson. i have replaced for 4x4 no engaging and wipers too.
You will need to remove the dashboard panel in order to replace the electronic throttle control light. With the dashboard panel removed the light can be access to be replaced.

Get it warm and feel both heater hose's at the firewall and see if both are warm. If not, the heater core is probably plugged.

Right next to the passenger side tire. Above the control arm.
Either the fan itself is burnt out or the temperature control switch that tells it when to turn on is bad.

no it does not! left side on front of engine are two relay fuses 1 for each fan.
If the hazard control is in the dash--may be part of that module - it is in the newer GM vehicles If not it should be in or close to the fuse block
The windshield wiper control module is usually in the fuse box located in the engine compartment of most automobiles. Sometimes the windshield wiper control module is located on the firewall next to the windshield wiper motor.
On the 94 and 95 you just pull it out. Be careful with the wiring connector.
