Yes, that is a possibility.
It all depends on the bearings that you need to replace! Get some quotes! If it is bearings inside the engine, then the mechanic you go to is going to have pull the engine anyways, so if there are no other problem with your engine but some bearings then i would just have the bearing replaced, but if you have other problems due to the bearings going out, then i would replace the engine. Hope i helped
Yes cam bearings can spin and block the oil gallery holes, therefore stoping oil from getting to the top of the engine.
Higher.
The abs system will have wiring going to the wheel bearings for the speed sensors. The abs system will have wiring going to the wheel bearings for the speed sensors.
A trained ear could here them while the engine is running. The only way to know for sure is to tear the engine down and check them with a mike.
As a rule, the higher the strings are off the fingerbord, the louder the sound. You are going to be limited of course, because the higher the strings, the harder to play. Heavier gauge strings are louder than light gauge. That's the reason that bluegrass musicians use dreadnaught size Guitars,Usually Martin, with a high action and heavy strings. This makes for a lot of volume, but a killer on the fingers. This is the only way I know of to make an acoustic guitar louder short of shaving down the braces and/or top, which should only be done by a skilled luthier and can be quite expensive.
In theory ceramic bearings are fastest, compared to both cup & cone and cartridge bearings. However, as bearing drag are only a few % of the total resistance getting the "best" bearings really isn't going going to make you noticeably faster overall - unless there's something wrong with your current bearings.
That is common on the vortec engines when the intake manifold gasket blows on the inside. It dumps engine coolant into the oil pan. It sounds like you had a water leak and you kept adding coolant with out knowing it was going in the oil pan. Your engine is now junk, because antifreeze destroys engine bearings. It was probley overheated too. Now if you did not over heat the engine at all, I mean at all. Then you can pull the engine and take it all apart. Replace all bearings, cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, but most of all it would have to be cleaned like never before. NEW OIL PUMP and all new gaskets. If you don't do this kind of work, Then your best bet would be a new long block.
if it is bearings you should hear it all the time expecially at higher speeds. Unless the sound of your engine is drowning it out. I replaced the wheel bearings on my car and it was quite simple. Plan on going to a hardware store to find socket big enough to remove your hub retainer nut.
Going to sleep because if you snore snoring is loud
The MOST COMMON problem with the engine is that the INTAKE GASKETS leak water into the oil pan and destroys the engine bearings if not found soon enough. Other then that, It is a very good engine. They also have alot of problems with the fuel pump going out.
it creates a bigger vibration which means a louder echo going up and down the neck and body of the guitar
