Yes! Here is a simple easy way to test its effects. 1. After waking up in the morning, cup your hands around your mouth and nose and and smell your breath. After you pass out you will regain consciousness. 2. Immediately go and brush your teeth (twice). 3. Repeat step one. If you have not passed out, or lost consciousness the brushing was a success. You can also substitute cupping your hands over your mouth and nose for another person. Just breath directly into their face. yes, it works because the flouride it contains prevents gum decay which eventually leads to tooth loss if you dont use it. it can also whiten teeth over time (depending on the minerals and substances inside). it is a very good idea to use liquid flouride too, like listurine to kill the germs and strengthen your teeth.

If you have sensitive skin, no, it will dry out and burn your skin. If you don't, then yes, it eats away at the fatty oils of a zit and dries it out. Sometimes, it will bring it to a head, so you can pop it. Be careful when popping zits, as Bactria can spread. Pop it with clean hands, then wash your face. Don't listen to people who tell you not to do a particular remedy, as it may not work for them, but it may work for you.

There is no scientific evidence to support that toothpaste works, (and I can tell you it never worked for me) in fact some toothpaste will make acne worse. The ingredient, sodium laurel sulphate is in many toothpastes which is a pore clogger (if you are acne-prone).

Your best bet is to start off using a product with 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, (make sure it doesn't have pore-cloggers in it). If you've never used B.P. before, start off slowly - wear it for 15 minutes for a few nights, then 30 minutes for the next few nights, then 2 hours and then all night. B.P. bleaches clothing so make sure you have a white pillowcase and wear a white t-shirt when you use it.

See if the 2.5% works for you. You should know though that your skin can potentially adapt to it so it will stop working. If/when that happens you'll want something stronger, (I'm pretty sure there's nothing over-the-counter that's stronger).

I've included a list of pore-clogging ingredients, (the numbers on the right indicate how bad they are for your skin - a 5 is the worst) so when you go to the drug store you can check the ingredients before you buy something.

Is this true if you put Tobe past on a pimple will it go away?

I'm not sure what Tobe past is, but putting toothpaste on a pimple will reduce the size and redness of the pimple. Gel toothpaste WILL NOT work, it must be the regular toothpaste.

What kind of toothpaste gets rid of zits?

Answer:The toothpaste myth:Some magazines may say that by applying a dab of toothpate to the pimple will make it go away, actually it might reduce the size of the pimple but it will also leave a scar which looks even worse.

Does putting toothpaste on a pimple work well?

maybe for some people it will but my skin is very oily and to tell you the truth it just didn't work for me. I think the only way you can get rid of it is cutting down on chocolate, fried foods, and sodas. But zits are destined to come up on your face eventually, there is no way to completely fight it.

Can toothpaste get rid of pimples?

Toothpaste on PimplesIt depends. Some toothpastes have more baking soda in it, which will dry out your pimple(s). On the other hand, the toothpastes may break you out, so I wouldn't recommend trying this method. But it will work if used in small periods. For people who use it over night they most likely find their skin dry and underneath where you can't see it will burn skin tissue. This on the good side with completely abliterate pimples and whiteheads but in turn will damage your skin. It's your risk.Another SolutionUse a Q-Tip dipped in Rubbing Alchohol, and gently swab it onto the pimple right before you go to bed. By morning, the pimple will be a white-head and you can pop it. Preventing Pimples Further:Wash your hair regularly.Change your pillowcase regularly.Take regular showers. If the above methods do not work, do not pick at the pimple unless it is a white-head. If you pick it it will turn redder and look worse.

What is in toothpaste that dries pimples?

toothpaste on pimples works best if you pop the pimple first. trust me i know because i did it. it didnt hurt at all and it mayyyyjorlly reduced the size and redness of the pimple. also i can tell you three ingredients in some toothpastes that WONT work. ACOHOL. this will dry out the skin. and u actually dont want that. even if u hav oily skin MOISTURIZE DAILY. this will help alot. and when poping a pimple use tweezers it hurts alot less, and is easier if u dont hav long nails. another ingredient is WHITENING TOOTHPASTE. dont use this or it might give u a scar, blackhead or not even work. hope that i helped! bye! thecatster

Does whitening toothpaste whiten your teeth?

sort of.... but not really. whiting trays work better

Does expensive toothpaste work better than cheap toothpaste?

Not really. A person could brush their teeth everyday with cheap toothpaste and it would be just the same as if you used expensive toothpaste. SOME may work better than others, but it's just the company that you are buying from and how you use it and how often.

How long do you leave toothpaste on your pimple?

Depending on your skin type and how sensitive it is, you can gain the best results by leaving the toothpaste on over night and rinsing it off immediately in the morning. Results do vary also because of the toothpaste, it is recommended that you use a "real" toothpaste and not a gel, something natural or organic should give the desired results.

Does toothpaste get rid of acne?

ToothpasteDOES NOT cure acne... I have a bad case of acne and have tried every cure in the book including Proactiv*.... Toothpaste, if at the most, will just make your acne problems worse... The only cure i have found for acne so far is Spectro AcneCare deep pore vanishing lotion.... i think i payed under $10 for a 25 ml bottle... You can get it at any drug store... GOOD LUCK :)
